    Now Recruiting Board Members!

    Now Recruiting Board Members!

Apply on Do Good Jobs - general board member listing and treasurer listing.

    Summary

Ōtautahi Rainbow Spaces Collective is a community-based non-profit whose purpose is to support rainbow, takatāpui, and MVPFAFF+ communities and their whānau. We achieve this through creating affirming spaces for services across various sectors to work collaboratively, to break down barriers and foster opportunities for growth, diversity, and empowerment in Waitaha Canterbury.

Our first priority is to open a Rainbow Hub in Ōtautahi Christchurch. The Rainbow Hub will: 1) provide a drop-in space where anyone can feel welcome to come in, get information, and connect with the community; and 2) provide a co-working space to support local and national rainbow organisations to work collaboratively in a safe and welcoming environment.

The Trust is committed, in attaining its purposes, to: upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi; creating accessible, sustainable, and inclusive spaces for programmes that support the hauora, wellbeing, and development of all members of the rainbow, takatāpui, and MVPFAFF+ communities.
